UPDATE FROM DPS: The Endangered Missing Alert for Forney-area teen Dayveon Watkins has been discontinued.
The Texas Department of Public Safety, in collaboration with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, has issued an Endangered Missing Alert for 14-year-old Dayveon Watkins. The alert was officially issued at 12:29 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
Dayveon Watkins, who is reported to have an intellectual disability, was last seen at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, in the 2100 block of Cedar Park Drive in Forney, Texas.
The missing teenager is described as a Black male, approximately 5'5" tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Dayveon Watkins' whereabouts to contact the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office at (469) 376-4500 or call 911.
