The Marshall Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating Jeffrey Fitch, who has an outstanding warrant for Assault Family Violence Causing Bodily Injury.
On Saturday, September 30th, 2023, officers from the Marshall Police Department responded to an assault at a business located in the 1700 block of East End Blvd N. Upon arrival, law enforcement was informed that Mr. Fitch had fled the scene in a white Nissan pickup with a Pennsylvania license plate.
According to officials, Fitch is wanted for his involvement in the assault of a female inside the store. A customer present at the scene witnessed the assault and intervened to protect the victim. Fitch then resorted to using a 2-liter soda bottle as an improvised weapon against the good Samaritan before fleeing the premises. Thanks to the bystander's actions, the assault was halted.
