10 Arrested in Fannin County Prostitution Sting Over Memorial Day Weekend

FANNIN COUNTY, Texas - The Fannin County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 10 people during a Memorial Day weekend operation targeting individuals seeking to purchase commercial sex in Fannin County.

Authorities said the multi-day operation was conducted in partnership with the Fannin County Criminal District Attorney's Office and Skull Games Solutions.

Investigators said all 10 suspects were arrested on felony solicitation of prostitution charges. Additional charges filed during the operation included possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and theft of material.

Officials stated that commercial sex crimes are closely linked to human trafficking and often contribute to other violent and exploitative offenses.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspects came from multiple states and backgrounds, with some reportedly traveling several hours to participate in the illegal activity.

The following individuals were arrested:

  • Billy Joe Tucker of Sherman, Texas — Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Maxie Ray Mikle Jr. of Wichita, Kansas — Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Anthony Ray Johnson of Sherman, Texas — Solicitation of Prostitution and Theft of Material
  • Quincy Gibbs of Denison, Texas — Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Robert Goerdt of Paris, Texas — Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Brian Hudgins of Leonard, Texas — Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Jim Barker III of Fayetteville, Tennessee — Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Jeri Jamark Bell Jr. of Houma, Louisiana — Solicitation of Prostitution and Resisting Arrest
  • Carl Luke Huggins of Grove Hill, Alabama — Solicitation of Prostitution and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1
  • Tyrell Johnson Eastep of Swink, Oklahoma — Solicitation of Prostitution

The sheriff’s office said it remains committed to protecting vulnerable individuals and aggressively pursuing those involved in exploitation-related crimes.
