TEXARKANA, Texas — A pursuit involving a stolen vehicle ended with an arrest Wednesday evening after the suspect crashed while attempting to evade police.

Texarkana Police Officer Cole Bredenberg spotted a vehicle on South Lake Drive on April 1, 2026, that had been reported stolen out of Texarkana, Arkansas days earlier. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, the driver fled, accelerating onto the flyover toward Jarvis Parkway.

Police said the driver reached dangerous speeds and passed vehicles on the shoulder before exiting onto West 7th Street. The pursuit ended when the suspect attempted to turn onto Kilgore Street, struck a curb, and blew out two tires, forcing the vehicle to stop.

The driver, identified as 19-year-old Logan Page, was taken into custody without further incident.

Page has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Detention. Authorities also discovered he had three outstanding misdemeanor warrants, including one for Theft of Property and two traffic violations.

He was booked into the Bi-State Jail.
