TERRELL, Texas — A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a Terrell woman Friday after police executed a search warrant at a residence in the city.
On February 27, 2026, the Terrell Police Department Narcotics Unit, assisted by the department’s SWAT team, served a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Third Street.
Officers located two individuals inside the residence. One person was determined to be unrelated to the investigation and was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
The second individual, Viviana Del-Toro, 25, of Terrell, was found to have active warrants and was taken into custody without incident.
During the search, investigators discovered multiple baggies containing a white powder-like substance believed to be cocaine, weighing approximately 18 grams. Police said the substance was individually packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
Detectives also recovered a digital scale with residue, packaging materials, and a THC vape cartridge. A vehicle and cellular phone were seized as evidence as part of the ongoing investigation.
In addition to her outstanding warrants, Del-Toro was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1 (4 grams or more but less than 200 grams).
The Terrell Police Department credited the Kaufman County Street Crimes Unit for assisting in the investigation that led to the search warrant and arrest.
