MABANK, Texas - On Tuesday, January 20, 2025, Henderson County deputies arrested a convicted felon after responding to a call involving reported terroristic threats in the Mabank area.
At approximately 4:00 a.m., Deputies Blake Forney and Colby Rush with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Running Brook Road. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the suspect, identified as 57-year-old Joseph Lee Marshall Autrey.
According to investigators, Autrey was inside a shed on the property when deputies arrived. While speaking with deputies, Autrey admitted that he had a firearm inside the shed. A search of the structure led to the discovery of two firearms, along with suspected methamphetamine and items commonly associated with the sale and distribution of narcotics.
Autrey, who is a convicted felon, was taken into custody and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
He was transported to the Henderson County Jail, where he remains in custody awaiting arraignment.
