Grayson County Man Arrested on Stalking, Harassment, and Assault Allegations

Terry Crutcher

GRAYSON COUNTY - The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has obtained an arrest warrant for Terry Crutcher in connection with a months-long stalking investigation targeting an adult victim. Authorities say Crutcher engaged in a persistent pattern of threatening and harassing behavior, prompting the sheriff’s office to act swiftly to protect the victim and prevent further escalation.

According to investigators, Crutcher’s alleged behavior included:

  • Unlawfully entering the victim’s residence and committing assault

  • Repeatedly following and surveilling the victim

  • Placing electronic tracking devices on the victim’s property and/or vehicle to monitor their movements

  • Making direct threats of physical harm

Officials also noted that Crutcher has a prior arrest related to a separate incident in which he trespassed at a residence and caused injury to a young child.

The investigation remains active, and authorities say additional charges could be filed as more evidence is reviewed. Investigators credited the victim’s courage in coming forward and cooperating fully, saying it was crucial in building a strong case and protecting the community from further harm.

Sheriff’s Office officials stressed the seriousness of stalking and harassment, warning that such crimes can escalate quickly. They encouraged anyone experiencing similar behavior to report it immediately.

Crutcher is currently held in the Grayson County Jail and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Authorities continue to work with a local police agency that assisted during the investigation.
