Two Men Arrested After Multi-Agency Raid Uncovers Cocaine, Meth, and Marijuana in Palestine Home

A joint narcotics investigation involving agencies in both Cherokee and Anderson Counties led to the arrest of two men early Friday morning after officers executed a search warrant at a home in Palestine.

On November 14, 2025, around 6 a.m., members of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Palestine Police Department, Jacksonville Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, Texas DPS, and ATF searched a residence at 802 San Jacinto Street in Anderson County. Inside, investigators found approximately 258 grams of cocaine, 120 grams of methamphetamine, and four pounds of marijuana.

Davon Alton Murray and Clifford Deshon Murray were both taken into custody at the scene.

Davon faces charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver PG1 (200–400 grams), Possession with Intent to Deliver PG1 (4–200 grams), Possession of Marijuana (4 ounces–5 pounds), and Tampering with Evidence. His bail was set at $860,000.

Clifford faces charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver PG1 (200–400 grams), Possession with Intent to Deliver PG1 (4–200 grams), and Possession of Marijuana (4 ounces–5 pounds). His bail was set at $760,000.

Both men were transported to the Anderson County Jail, where they remain in custody.
