HUNTINGTON, TX – A family returning from a beach vacation miraculously escaped with only minor cuts and scrapes after their vehicle rolled over in a ditch on Highway 69, just south of Huntington in Angeline County, on Sunday afternoon, July 13th.
Emergency services responded to the single-vehicle accident involving two adults and six children. The vehicle reportedly crossed all lanes of the highway before rolling over. Despite the severity of the crash, only the driver and one child had visible minor injuries.
All occupants were transported to a local hospital by multiple Allegiance Mobile Health teams. Agencies on scene included the Huntington Police Department, Zavalla Volunteer Fire Department, Angelina County Sheriff's Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
