Curt Cleveland, a Quinlan man out on bond for a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed 21-year-old Noah "Ducky" Blackwell in October 2024, has been arrested again by Hunt County Sheriff's Deputies. Cleveland was apprehended for violating his bond by leaving Hunt County without approval.
Cleveland is currently being held at the Hunt County Detention Center without bond, under a Judge's order. This marks his second bond violation; he was previously arrested in March 2025 for a similar offense, with his bond being reinstated in April 2025. The case is awaiting review by a Hunt County Grand Jury.
The incident in question occurred on the night of October 24, 2024, when Cleveland's vehicle struck Noah Blackwell as he was walking on the shoulder of Highway 34, just two miles from his home. Authorities allege that Cleveland, later identified as the driver, briefly stopped before fleeing the scene without rendering aid or calling for assistance.
Cleveland and his passenger, Sondra Lee Harvey of Greenville, were arrested within hours of the crash. Cleveland is charged with accident involving death, while Harvey is charged with failure to report a felony involving death.
