A 30-year-old Quitman man, Joshua Aaron Hudson, was arrested on March 8, 2025, after being linked to a stolen motorcycle and counterfeit money.
Hopkins County Deputies were alerted to a stolen motorcycle seen traveling on Hwy 154. A deputy later spotted the bike on the 200 block of Shannon Road and found the driver standing by it on the 1500 block of Shannon.
Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle had been stolen in Quitman. A subsequent search of Hudson’s person uncovered $5,700 in counterfeit money. Hudson was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Forgery.
