On May 9th, 2024, at around 5:03 am, Sherman Dispatch received a 911 emergency call from a business situated in the 5000-block of North US Highway 75. The caller reported a female acting suspiciously on the premises. Identified later as 32-year-old Sharon Ashley Andolino of Arlington, the woman was reported to have stabbed a male at the location before fleeing.
Sherman officers were dispatched to the scene. En route, they received additional information confirming the stabbing incident. The victim was transported to Texoma Medical Center, where he is currently in stable condition.
A joint effort by the Grayson County Sheriff's Office and the Denison Police Department led to Andolino's apprehension at a residence in Denison. Subsequent investigation verified Andolino as the perpetrator behind the stabbing.
Sharon Andolino was arrested for Injury to Elderly w/Intent Causing Serious Bodily Injury. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
