Sulphur Springs Police Conduct Drug Raid on Russell Drive Residence, Three Arrested

Kimberly Sue Ibarra, Joshua Allen Morton, and Mary Elizabeth Walker

On May 8th, 2024, at approximately 9:45 am, the Sulphur Springs Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Russell Drive. The operation led to the arrest of three individuals: 48-year-old Kimberly Sue Ibarra, 20-year-old Joshua Allen Morton, and 29-year-old Mary Elizabeth Walker.

During the search, law enforcement officials uncovered a variety of illicit substances including methamphetamine, cannabis, THC, and mushrooms. Morton was found in possession of approximately 1.01 ounces of cannabis, a THC vape pen, and a mushroom bar.

Walker was discovered with around 1.5 grams of a crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine concealed under her purse in a vehicle. She confessed to the presence of methamphetamine and cooperated with officers by revealing its location.

Ibarra was found in possession of approximately 1.5 grams of a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine in her bedroom.

All three suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Hopkins County Jail. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
