On April 23, 2024, Commerce Police Department officers responded to a call in the 2100 block of Monroe Street regarding a person with a prior trespass warning at that location. The individual was identified as Wallace Keith Miller of Greenville.
Officers attempted to arrest Miller for trespassing, but he resisted and became argumentative. Despite his resistance, officers were able to subdue Miller and take him into custody.
Upon searching him, officers found a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine, along with a small baggie containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Miller faces charges of criminal trespass, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone. His total bond was set at $8,500.
