On February 28, 2024, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, in collaboration with the Patrol Division, executed a felony warrant service in the Wilson Lake Estates subdivision for Samuel Dwayne Brumlow.
During the warrant service, detectives gathered evidence that led to the procurement of a search warrant for the property. As a result of the investigation, approximately 9 ounces of liquid methamphetamine were seized.
Despite the operation, Samuel Dwayne Brumlow remained elusive, with an active felony warrant for Theft and several misdemeanor traffic warrants against him. Detectives are currently pursuing an additional felony warrant for Brumlow for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).

During the operation, the following individuals were apprehended:
- William Eric Lafferty, 53, of Livingston, TX, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).
- Veronica Clarisse Williams, 48, of Livingston, TX, also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).
Samuel Dwayne Brumlow, 37, of Livingston, TX, remains at large.
